Formerly, the 17th Century hunting lodge for the Estate is now a unique, tranquil waterside restaurant. The restaurant is offered on an exclusive use basis for your wedding, the nature of exclusive use ensures there will be no other dining taking place on your chosen day, allowing yourself, family, colleagues and guests the privacy of Hertfordshire’s award-winning restaurant. A more intimate number of up to 60 guests can be accommodated within Auberge du Lac with an additional 40 guests for your evening reception. Melbourne Lodge bedrooms are available to guests for your occasion.
Head Chef, Matt Edmonds, will create a bespoke menu for your special day, using the finest local, British and seasonal ingredients to give you the ultimate dining experience. Recognised with awards both nationally and internationally, Matt has previously worked at Serceys@The Gherkin and the renowned Army and Navy Club in Pall Mall.
