Our first evening pop-up event is here!

Auberge du Lac is due to fully reopen next year, and our Head Chef John Barber has organised a number of pop-up events to take place in the lead up, to welcome back new and old faces to the Estate. The pop-ups will provide an opportunity to try out some of John’s new dishes and entice you all to return once the Auberge re-opens.

Head Chef John has spent the last 12 years working in London at the Mandarin Oriental under Daniel Boulud’s Bar Boulud restaurant and more recently at 14Hills with the D&D group. John joined the Brocket Hall team late last year to head up the reopening of Auberge du Lac.

There will be the opportunity to add a wine selection to your evening.

Tables of 2-4 people will be available.

Housed in Brocket Hall’s former hunting lodge, Auberge du Lac enjoys an idyllic lakeside setting overlooking the beautiful 543 acre country estate and the Hall itself. With numerous awards, Auberge du Lac provides the highest standards in cuisine and service.

Whether it is al fresco dining in summer at the water’s edge or an intimate environment in the winter months, Auberge du Lac provides the right mood for every occasion. With a beautiful lounge, picturesque terrace and a host of tastefully decorated private dining rooms, capable of seating from 2 to 16 guests, the restaurant regularly caters for private dinners, ladies lunches, weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations.

Auberge Du Lac is currently open for afternoon teas and speciality pop up events only. We will be announcing a date for full reopening shortly.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please let us know as soon as possible.

Reservations for all the tables of 4 or more and smaller tables in certain peak periods (e.g. Friday, Saturday, Sunday) may require credit card details in order to book. This booking must be changed or cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the reservation time, otherwise, a £20 per person cancellation fee may be applied.

The cancellation fee reflects the cost of food, drink and staffing incurred by us in anticipation of the booking and lost revenue from the empty table.

A table is deemed to have “no-showed” if they are more than 30 minutes late for their reservation and have made no contact with the restaurant.

The cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card used to secure the booking. We will send an email notification of any charges.
