Within the opulent surroundings of the Brocket Hall Estate sit our two championship golf courses in magnificent 18th century parkland. Both are quintessentially British by design, but at the same time offer a completely different challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Together, they are two of the finest golf courses in England and provide the perfect backdrop for the tournaments and golf days that fill the social calendar. Both courses regularly play host to professional and members’ tournaments as well as Pro-Am tournaments where our members can meet and play with professionals from around the world.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Golf Services Assistant to cater for the needs of our exclusive members and guests here at the Melbourne Club at Brocket Hall. You will be the main contact for our members and guests for any of their golfing needs. You will ensure our members, guests and visitors are offered an outstanding 5* experience whilst visiting us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liase with relevant contacts both internal and external and using information available; prepare for the day ahead to the required standard, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • To maintain standards and consistency of delivery of service as directed and in accordance to policies and procedures set by the department.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Work with team members in all areas of the golf department from on course marshaling, the golf academy, the golf concierge and the golf shop.

Golf Services Assistant Requirements:

  • Educated to a good standard including English and Maths.
  • Must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
  • Must possess an interest and understanding of golf.
  • To work and respect all other Heads of Department within the Company.
  • Must be self motivated, whilst understanding the importance of working as part of a team.
  • Flexibility.
  • Required to work weekends.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
  • A confident and professional approach to work.
  • Must be self motivated and able to act on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A positive and outgoing personality is essential.

Salary: £13,896.00-£26,842.00 per year
